Rimy Morris is the founder of The Collective, an organization dedicated to creating equitable curriculum, resources, and experiences for individuals impacted by the child welfare system. Through her leadership, Rimy centers equity, healing, and lived experience in everything she designs—ensuring that those most affected by systemic injustice are not only included but empowered to lead transformation.
With years of experience in advocacy, education, and community engagement, Rimy has worked alongside public agencies, nonprofits, and youth-led movements to co-create learning experiences that spark change. Her work creates bridges of equity and access that blend storytelling, curriculum design, and systems thinking to reimagine how families can thrive.
Driven by her and her family's own lived experience in the child welfare system, Rimy approaches her work with both compassion and urgency. She understands that meaningful change requires both personal reflection and institutional accountability, and she strives to bring both into balance through every project The Collective undertakes.
Rimy has facilitated workshops and trainings across the country focused on systems change, leadership development, and equitable design. Her vision is rooted in the belief that knowledge should be made equitable and accessible because when people know better, they do better
Today, she continues to lead The Collective in building a future where equity and belonging are not ideals but lived realities.
She is also an author and founder of Rambling Writers Publishing, a company dedicated to building legacies of literature. Through her work, Rimy centers healing, truth, and the power of lived experience.
