About me
Ricardo is the associate director of the Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange -MARE, where he has served in a variety of capacities for more than fifteen years. Ricardo is a strategic and innovative leader who combines his training in social work, his post-graduate studies in faith and spirituality, and his bi-cultural and bilingual experience to address structural issues of injustice and ethnocentrism in the child welfare system. Beyond his impactful work with MARE, Ricardo extends his advocacy into the community serving as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) with the Boston Juvenile Court where he shares his expertise to support vulnerable youth and families
